FAMU offers free screenings for National HIV Testing Day

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- June 27 is National HIV Testing Day. In light of the national holiday, Florida A&M University is offering free rapid HIV testing for its students at three satellite locations across campus.

The testing locations are as follows:

  • FAMU Village -- Room 171, Wednesday evenings or by appointment
  • Campus Recreation Center -- Second floor, Thursday evenings
  • Foote - Hilyer location -- Daily, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • FAMU health officials are reminding students to call 911 if they believe they are having a medical emergency. If they need to be seen by a physician or healthcare provider, they can come to FAMU Student Health Services during normal operating hours.
