TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- A man has been arrested in connection to a shooting in Tallahassee on Friday that sent one person to the hospital.
Nathaniel Griffin, 24, was arrested in Gadsden County after a warrant was secured by Tallahassee Police.
Police say Griffin was responsible for a shooting in the 2600 block of North Monroe Street just after 2 a.m. Friday. The victim suffered non life-threatening injuries.
Following an investigation, Griffin was taken into custody with the help of the Havana Police Department and the Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office and booked into the Gadsden County Jail.
Griffin was transported to the Leon County Detention Facility on Tuesday.
Griffin is charged with attempted first degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- One person was injured in a shooting in Tallahassee early Friday, just two minutes after a fatal shooting was reported across town.
The Tallahassee Police Department says the shooting happened around 2:00 a.m. in the 2600 block of North Monroe Street.
Emergency personnel provided medical attention to the victim, who was taken to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
TPD has not released any additional details.

A fatal shooting was reported in the 1500 block of Crescent Hills Drive just two minutes earlier.
