Police searching for three suspects in robbery near FAMU campus

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Police are searching for three suspects in an armed robbery near the Florida A&M campus early Thursday morning.

According to police, the robbery occurred near Wahnish Way and Eugenia Street. FAMU police sent out a text alert warning students around 3:30 a.m.

One suspect is described described as a 6'3" black male with a dark complexion, black shorts, a rag wrapped around his head, with an AK-47. The other two suspects are both described as 5'7" with handguns, one of them had red shorts.

The suspects were last seen headed west toward FAMU Way by foot.
