JENNINGS, Fla (WCTV) -- The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is conducting an inquiry into claims of rape against two police officers in Jennings.
Jennings Police Department Chief Vincent Robinson said he was made aware of the allegations at the beginning of December.
"Any allegation or complaint of any nature, especially something like this, you have to jump on it right away and see exactly what's going on," said Robinson.
Chief Robinson says both officers were hired within the past year. Neither officers still work at the department.
Both the Jennings Police Department and the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office conducted an investigation into the allegations.
The Jennings Police Department currently has three officers and others who work as reserves.
