CHIPLEY, Fla. (WCTV) -- The Florida Department of Transportation says it will decrease the speed limit on U.S. 98 in Crawfordville after examining the results of a recent speed study.
The speed limits will decrease from 60 MPH to 55 MPH and from 55 MPH to 45 MPH on Coastal Highway, east and west of Spring Creek Highway.
The new speed limits will go into effect Tuesday, June 13.
The Florida Department of Transportation reminds drivers to pay attention to the new speed limit, and all speed limits, when traveling.
