Two teens charged with murder in death of robbery partner

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- We've learned the names of two minors being charged as adults in connection to a fatal home invasion earlier this month.

Alvin Green, 17, and Tony Hill, 17, are charged with second degree murder and attempted home invasion armed robbery.

LaRon Fryson, 20, was killed during an attempted home invasion robbery on June 6 at the College Club Townhomes on S. Adams Street.

Tallahassee police say Fryson, Green and Hill were attempting to rob an apartment when the resident opened fire on the suspects. Fryson and Green were both shot, and Fryson later died at a local hospital.

The State Attorney's Office confirmed that Green and Hill are being charged as adults in the case.

Green made his first appearance on Wednesday morning.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- The Tallahassee Police Department has identified the person killed in a shooting at the College Club Townhomes on S. Adams Street on Tuesday night.

20-year-old LaRon Fryson died at a local hospital after he arrived with apparent gunshot wounds.

The Tallahassee Police Department was called to the apartment complex around 10:09 p.m. after several people reported gunshots in the area.

TPD has determined that the incident began as an home invasion robbery.

TPD says Fryson and two minors were armed and arrived at an individual unit with the intent to rob the apartment. The residents of the apartment used a firearm to protect themselves.

One of the minors was shot, but sustained non-life threatening injuries. The other minor was not injured.

Both of the minors have been charged with homicide and armed home invasion robbery.

The Violent Crimes Unit is investigating another home invasion robbery that happened on Stone Road on Tuesday to determine if it is related.

Tallahassee Police Violent Crimes Unit Investigators are continuing the investigation of the homicide and are asking community members with information about the case to please call them at (850) 891-4200 or to remain anonymous, please call CrimeStoppers at (850) 556-1726.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- One person is dead after a shooting at the College Club Townhomes on S. Adams Street on Tuesday night.

The Tallahassee Police Department was called to the area around 10:09 p.m. after several people reported gunshots in the area.

When police arrived, they did not find any victims at the complex. A few minutes later, two victims arrived at a local hospital suffering from gunshot wounds.

One of the victims has died from the incident. Their identity has not yet been released.

Police are actively investigating the incident.
