DOUGLAS, Ga. (WCTV) – Railroad crossings are now reopen following a train derailment in Coffee County.

City of Douglas officials say, on Monday morning, a train car derailed near Griffin’s Warehouse in Douglas, along the crossing at Pearl Avenue.

We've learned that the train car belonged to a client of CSX.

No injuries were reported.

Railroad crossings were blocked from Pearl Avenue to Gaskin Avenue for about an hour before crews were able to get the derailed car back onto the tracks. All crossings have since reopened.

Officials are investigating the cause of the derailment.
