TweetCap: FSU beats Cal State Fullerton 6-4 in elimination game

OMAHA, Neb. (WCTV) -- The Florida State Seminoles are playing for their post-season lives this afternoon as they take on the Cal State Fullerton Titans in an elimination game at the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska.

The 'Noles led for the first eight innings of their World Series opener on Saturday against LSU before the Tigers mounted a late-game comeback, by scoring twice in the bottom of the eighth to send FSU to the elimination bracket.

CS-Fullerton also saw a late lead slip away, allowing four runs in the sixth and surrendered the game winning run in the bottom of the eighth against Oregon State in the first game on Saturday.
