TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- The Leon County Sheriff's Office says two 15-year-old students have been arrested after making verbal threats to conduct a school shooting.

According to LCSO, during classes on Wednesday, a school resource deputy at Second Chance at Ghazvini Learning Center was notified by a teacher about comments made by two students at the school.

One of the students allegedly asked, "Did you hear about the shooting that is occurring tomorrow?" He then said that it would occur at Second Chance and added, "I might shoot this place up!" The second student reportedly stated, "I am going to shoot up Nims Middle School tomorrow and then Second Chance... I ain't kidding!"

Following an investigation, both students were taken into custody without incident and charged with making verbal threats.

Both teens were taken to the Juvenile Assessment Center.

WCTV is choosing not to identify the juveniles, due to their age.
