Three arrested for armed robbery and carjacking

BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WCTV) -- Three suspects have been arrested in an armed robbery and carjacking in the parking lot of a Bainbridge Walmart on Wednesday night.

Bainbridge Public Safety says Marq Lewis, 20, and Lonnie Baggling, 23, both of Bainbridge, were taken into custody on Friday morning and charged in the case.

19-year-old Christopher Baggling was arrested Friday night after officers received information regarding his whereabouts. Officials say Christopher is the brother of Lonnie.

BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WCTV) -- Bainbridge Public Safety is looking for two suspects wanted in connection to an armed robbery and carjacking Wednesday night.

Authorities say a man was robbed at gunpoint in a Walmart parking lot around 8 p.m. His car, a black Pontiac G6, was stolen and later found by officers in a wooded area on Cosmo Street around 10 p.m.

BPS says several other cars in the parking lot were also broken into.

The suspect, who officers say threatened the victim with a gun, is described as a short black male with curly hair or short dreads. He was wearing a camouflage jacket and khaki shorts. He is considered armed and dangerous.

The second suspect, also a black male, was wearing a gray hoodie and light colored pants.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about this case to call 911, or contact Bainbridge Public Safety at 229-248-2038.
