VALDOSTA, Ga. (WCTV) -- Wild Adventures is welcoming their newest and furriest addition to the park.
The six-week-old alpaca is named Annie. She was born at the park in the South American exhibit on January 8. The theme park says Annie is very friendly, and already making herself home.
They're excited to make her their newest ambassador to welcome guests to the park.
"Alpacas chose their herds. They're kind of unique in that way and Annie chose us. We've chosen Annie and she's now in the process of getting familiar with the park as a whole and its employees. It's really nice to have her at the park and part of the family," said Adam Floyd, with Wild Adventures.
Families can meet Annie on March 10, when the park will reopen for their 2018 season.
They say the baby alpaca has been walking the park, even wandering into offices, to practice before her public debut.
