MONTICELLO, Fla. (WCTV) -- An accident blocking traffic in the I-10 westbound lanes in Jefferson County has been cleared.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 10:30 a.m. Friday about 4 miles west of the Monticello exit.
An SUV pulling a large trailer was traveling westbound when the trailer began to wobble, FHP reports. The driver began to overcorrect and lost control of the vehicle. The trailer and SUV spun and overturned into the roadway, blocking all westbound lanes.
Traffic was snarled for hours but began moving around noon when the accident was cleared.
The driver, the sole occupant of the SUV, was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured.
