Cookie Dough Nutella Ice Cream Sandwich



Ingredients

· 1 stick of butter
· 1/3 Cup of granulated sugar
· 1/3 Cup Light Brown Sugar
· 2 Tablespoons of milk
· ½ Tablespoon of vanilla extract
· ½ Teaspoon of salt
· 1 ¼ Cup of Flour
· ¼ Cup of Nutella
· 1 Cup Mini Chocolate Chip
· Ice cream of your choice (Vanilla or Cookie dough recipes are my favorites)
· Parchment paper
· (1) 8” Square Pan
· Cooking spray

Directions


· Step 1 - In a microwavable safe bowl, melt together butter and sugars
· Step 2 - Add milk, vanilla, salt and flour, and whisk well together
· Step 3 - Add chocolate chips
· Step 4 - Line pan with parchment or wax paper - be sure to line pan horizontally and vertically leaving excess paper on each side
· Step 5 - Press ½ dough mixture evenly into pan, then use more paper to layer the dough
· Step 6 - Spread Nutella evenly across the dough
FREEZE MIXTURE FOR AT LEAST 1 HOUR
· Step 7 - Once dough is solid remove the top layer and set aside
· Step 8 - Spread a layer of ice cream to completely cover the surface of the dough and Nutella layer in pan, then top with second layer of cookie dough
Freeze for 6 - 8 hours, Cut and serve. (best to cut with a knife dipped into hot water)
