TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- After thumping the fifth-ranked Gators on their home floor Monday night, the Seminoles return to the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center to face the Loyola Greyhounds.
The Noles have rattled off seven straight wins to open the season, and are averaging a winning margin of 19 points.
Junior Terance Mann leads the squad with 16.7 points per game, including 25 points in his clutch performance against the rival Gators.
With their first win against a ranked opponent this past Monday, they look to build off that momentum in the coming weeks before conference play in the elite ACC.
The Noles are looking for their first 8-0 start since the 2003 season, when they started the season with ten straight wins, but failed to make the NCAA Tournament.
Loyola is 1-6, with their lone win coming against the Division II Goucher Gophers. Despite having just one win, the Greyhounds have been in a majority of their games, including dropping decisions to Northwestern by four points, Dartmouth by one point and The Mount by five.
Cam Gregory is the man who gets it done for the 'Hounds, as he leads the team with 16.9 points per game and 9.3 rebounds a contest. Andrew Walker (14.2) and Andrew Kostecka (13.2) are also averaging double-figures in scoring.
Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. The game can be seen on ACC Network Extra.
