TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Florida State tight end Mavin Saunders has announced his intent to transfer from the Seminoles football program.
Saunders took to Twitter to make the announcement, as well as thank head coach Jimbo Fisher for the opportunity to be apart of the program.
Saunders has not recorded a catch or logged a rush this year for the Seminoles, and finishes his FSU career having appeared in 31 games with 16 catches for 234 yards and no touchdowns.
A native of Bimini, Bahamas, Sanders was named to the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team this season. The redshirt junior received a medical redshirt in 2014 after appearing in one game.
