Lincoln High head basketball coach placed on administrative leave

WCTV Sports Director Asher Wildman has learned that Lincoln High Head Basketball Coach Dimitric Salters has been placed on administrative leave.

A Lincoln High Official confirmed the news with Wildman and told him that Salters was being investigated for the financials of his program.

The county has begun their investigation and Salters is now on temporary suspension from the program. Assistant coach Clemon Johnson will fill in for Salters while he is out.

No players are involved in the investigation.

Lincoln who is the number one ranked team in the state for 8A, has two big games this week. The Trojans face Godby and Rickards this week, and then next week begin the 8A District 2 Tournament.
