Willie Taggart, current head coach at Oregon with previous stops at South Florida and Western Kentucky, is perceived to be the leading man for the job. A Bradenton native, Taggart just completed his first year with the Ducks, going 7-5.
Justin Fuente just finished his second season at Virginia Tech and was the head coach at Memphis from 2012-2015. The Hokies went 9-3 this year, including posting a 5-3 mark in the ACC, and finished in second place in the league's Coastal division behind Miami.
