TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Rumors are swirling that Florida State University's head football coach Jimbo Fisher is eyeing an offer from Texas A&M University.
KPRC-TV in Houston reports sources with knowledge of the process say a deal between Texas A&M and Fisher is already in place.
KPRC says the contract is expected to pay at least $7.5 million per season, and the announcement will come after FSU closes out the regular season.
Fisher responded to the rumors Monday morning, saying he does not address coaching job rumors during the season and that his focus is on the upcoming Louisiana-Monroe game this weekend.
At his weekly press conference on Monday afternoon, Fisher told media members, "I'm not going to talk about other jobs right now."
When asked what he tells his players amid the rumors, Fisher responded, "I’m here coaching you right now.”
