TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Next time you're at a high school basketball game in the Big Bend, take a look underneath the basket.

Chances are you'll find Godby High School graduate Terence Huie.

Huie has taken his love of sports and film making and combined them in order to provide highlight reels of players and games through Huie Production Hoops and First and 10 Films.

"I was always on YouTube in high school watching Ballislife, Home Team Hoops, all those OG's in the game," Huie said. "And I noticed no one is really doing that in the Tallahassee area, so I said why not give it a try."

In less than three years, Huie's HP Hoops page has racked up more than 500,000 views.

"I've always been a basketball fan, always growing up and watching the NBA and college basketball, but I'm not the basketball prototype body wise, so basketball isn't really my thing," Huie explained. "But, I've always been a fan, and my dad used to film sports so I guess you can say it's kind of in my blood."

First and 10 Films, which has only been around for six months, has more than 150,000 views.

Thanks to YouTube's monetization policy, Huie doesn't make very much from his content. But, he says that at the end of the day, it isn't about the money.

Rather, it's about helping those trying to earn a scholarship.

"Hopefully, I can be the one to give them the exposure they need to earn a scholarship," Huie said.

One highlight at a time.
