The vote is in, it's time to unveil the Best BBQ of the Big Bend. It was a close one with the winner coming out only a few votes ahead. The Best of the Big Bend is Boston BBQ!
Good ol' Southern hospitality takes the cake, or should I say meat at Boston BBQ.
Great food at a reasonable price is what has folks traveling from all over Georgia and even crossing the Florida border to get a taste of the Best BBQ of the Big Bend, but owner Mark Roberts says the locals are the backbone of the restaurant.
"It's an honor I am glad people enjoy the food, I am glad people got behind this", said Roberts.
Ann McCrickard is a frequent customer and said, "I think it's well deserved I am excited for them and for Boston."
Forget about the chowder and don't call it Beantown, when it comes to Boston and you are in Georgia we are talking BBQ and they sure know how to give a mouthful.
Customers have a variety of dishes to choose from such as pork sandwiches, ribs, burgers and they even throw a little Mexican twist on their menu serving pork quesadillas and a BBQ burrito.
Sedrick Booker says it's the best BBQ and he loves the burgers!
Boston BBQ sits in the quaint town of Boston, Georgia and while it's only been open for 8 months, the great food and relaxed environment make many customers feel right at home.
Anne Faulkner said, "It's lovely in here, it's nice and clean it's attractive and colorful and the food is good."
A comfort meal that will have you stuffed like a little piggy, and takes the prize as this month's Best of the Big Bend.
