Armed Robbery at Dollar General
On Sunday, November 27, at approximately 8:30 PM, an unknown male entered the Dollar General store, located at 1430 West Marion Avenue, Lake Park.

On Sunday, November 27, at approximately 8:30 PM, an unknown male entered the Dollar General store, located at 1430 West Marion Avenue, Lake Park, armed with a handgun and demanded money from the clerks on duty. The clerks complied with the demand and the male fled the business.
Officers from the Lake Park Police Department and deputies from the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office responded to the initial 9-1-1 call. During the investigation of the incident it was learned that the male, who was completely covered, entered the business and displayed the handgun and made his demands. The race of the male is unknown as he was completely covered. An investigator from the Criminal Investigation Division of the Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene and assumed the investigation.
The male fled the business on foot but may have gotten into an awaiting vehicle. This has not yet been confirmed.
