Crime Prevention Tips:
1. Avoid walking alone at night. Walking with a group of friends reduces the risk of being a victim of crime.
2. If you must walk late at night, stay in well lighted and well traveled areas.
3. Tell someone where you are going and when you expect to return.
4. Do not display money or valuables as you walk. These of course, may be attractive to a potential robber.
5. Be aware of your surroundings. Do not get immersed in texting or talking on the phone.
6. If you see anyone suspicious or someone who alarms you for any reason, contact police. They can make sure everything is safe or take appropriate action if necessary.

the reason crime is rampant on FSU's campus is because the criminals know how incompetent the FSU cops are--they only seem to make arrests for underage drinking. FSUPD operating procedure: find a way not to arrest a perpertrator; find a way to blame the victim. FSU COPS SUCK!
CSI is the best, and warrant or subpoena.... it does not matter to me.. just do something about it. So obviously get on the couch and watch some CSI..Miami is the best one with Horatio!.. by the way make some popcorn
Rick, I cna appreciate your perspective. However I think that it would be more productive to unemploy all the scum bags that are responsible for creating the self-defense free zones that are college campuses. Meerly the fact that they are either too stupid to realize, or too morally bankrupt to care that, their laws have very emphatically created the victim rich environments even the dumbest of criminal thugs can recognize is grounds for dismissal in my eyes. Yet WE keep allowing them to draw their paychecks and receive their special interest funded "donations". We are as pathetically corrupt as they are. Almost.
