For NFC this spring, it will be how well can a team change and adapt to new surroundings. Robert Craft takes over for Tim Cokely as head coach, marking to third coaching change in four years for the Eagles.
NFC senior defensive end Hunter Leavine says,
"Every coach brings something new, every coach has something different. I'm really excited about what the future holds in store at NFC with coach Craft."
NFC senior running back Michael Railey adds,
"I mean it's just change. You have to get used to change. Everything can't stay the same so it's good to get that change experience early."
NFC head football coach Robert Craft adds,
"They've had some experience with coaching changes here so it's a reflection of the seniors. They've gone through a rough four years with all the different coaches they've had and they've adapted well."
There are some similarities between coach Craft and coach Cokely that could make it a smooth transition. Craft was an assistant under Cokely at Colquitt County before returning to NFC.
Hunter Leavine adds,
"it's all about high intensity and fast pace, keeping up tempo and just working hard and finishing it."
Robert Craft adds,
"Our kids, you talk to them and they're going to talk about how we finish every drill. The effort and the way we're going about things is going to be at one hundred percent with everything we do and we're going to play fast."
The Eagles will be able to show how much they have learned when NFC takes on Chipley in it's spring jamboree May 20th.
