QVC Cancels Jane Fonda Appearance Over Politics
Jane Fonda: QVC axed my appearance over politics.

NEW YORK (AP) -- Jane Fonda says she's been banished from QVC
amid concerns about her political past. The network says it was a
routine programming change.

The 73-year-old Oscar winner was set to appear on the
home-shopping channel on Saturday to promote her new book on aging,
"Prime Time." But the day before, she learned her segment had
been cancelled.

In a statement posted on her website, Fonda says QVC told her of
receiving "a lot of calls" from viewers criticizing her
opposition to the Vietnam War and threatening to boycott the show
if she appeared.

QVC spokesman Paul Capelli confirmed Fonda's cancelled
appearance. But he added, "It's not unusual to have a schedule
change ... with little or no notice."

"Prime Time" will be published next month.

I support QVC. I don't think Jane Fonda would reveal anything in her book that would be of interest. Jane Fonda you are a minor particpate in the overall scheme of life.

WAY TO GO QVC !!! I for one, don't want to see "Hanoi Jane" on your Shopping Channel. I remember seeing a video of her, using an open hand, and slapped one of our US prisoner of war, while his hands were bound behind his back. She's no good, and should have been run out of the United States of America a long time ago.
