TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) -- Chris Watson scored 18 points and Florida A&M used a long-range shooting attack to defeat Bethune-Cookman 68-62 on Saturday night.

The Rattlers made 55.6 percent (10 of 18) of their 3-point attempts, with Watson going 4 of 5 from beyond the arc. Take away the long-range success and Florida A&M was only 13 of 40 from the field. Bethune-Cookman also struggled from the floor, making only 39.3 percent (24 of 61) of its field goal attempts.

Amin Stevens added 13 points, and Yannick Crowder had 12 points and 13 rebounds for the Rattlers (6-16, 4-4 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference), who have won three of their past four games.

Kevin Dukes scored 15 points, and Adrien Coleman and Garrius Holloman added 13 apiece for the Wildcats (9-13, 6-2), who had their four-game winning streak snapped. Bethune-Cookman drops into a tie with Savannah State for second place in the MEAC.
