Saturday, Feb. 18th, is the Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event, where men are being asked to walk a mile in four inch red high heels.
The event is a fundraiser held by the Treehouse Children's Advocacy Center in Thomasville, a center that helps both child and adult victims of gender violence, sexual assault, and rape.
"Last year's event was a huge success, we raised $50,000 just off of last year's event alone, so we know that we can at least match that or even top that this year," said the cent'ers director Jackla Dean.
Registration begins at 9 a.m. Saturday at Thomas County Central middle school fields. The event is rain or shine.
