Every guy should do something special for his girl on Valentine's Day, right? Cards and carnations just won't cut it.

Eyewitness News reporter Greg Gullberg wants to know who really is "Valdosta's Most Romantic Man"?

Gullberg runs into Wes Kennedy on the streets of Downtown Valdosta. Kennedy says that he is "Valdosta's Most Romantic Man".

When asked about his plans with his wife for the year's most romantic night he replies, "After I deliver some flowers from the "Flower Gallery" I'm going to take her out for sushi."

Gullberg thinks that sounds nice but he wants to hear more ideas so he pops into a locally owned downtown Valdosta flower store called "The Flower Gallery".

"What's the most romantic thing any customer has done," Gullberg asks owner Susan Mullis.

Susan tells a wonderful story of a man who showered his soul mate with gifts. "He got down on one knee on a roof top with rose pettles scattered everywhere and proposed," Mullis said.

Gullberg thinks that all sounds nice, but he needs someone to really wow him; where is someone doing a big gesture?
Susan got on the computer and helped him look for a singing telegram.

"Are you kidding me," Gullberg exclaimed. "There are no singing telegrams in Valdosta?"

When he had exhausted his search, Gullberg was left with no good answer to just who is the "Most Romantic Man In Valdosta". But wait, there was a glimmer of hope when Greg's friend (coincidentally sharing the same first name) Greg Bright told him about his plans to surprise his newly wed.

Greg was picking up flowers and a very special lunch platter on his way to surprise his new wife at work, Amanda. They've been married for five months now.

Gullberg met up with Bright at "Jessie's Eats & Treats" in Downtown Valdosta where he picked up a platter of chicken wraps, finger fruits and cookies. Then they went to the "Valdosta Greenhouse" to pick up a vibrant bouquet of flowers.

The owner of the flower shop, Glenda, has known Greg and Amanda for a long time. Gullberg thinks surely she can tell him if this is the right guy!

"Glenda, I'm looking for the cutest couple in Valdosta. Am I talking to the right guy," Gullberg asked.

"Absolutely, we've been doing Greg's flowers for Amanda since the first date to the engagement to the wedding," Glenda says.

"We'll we're newly weds so everyday is special, but we wanted to do something extra special today [Valentine's Day]," says Greg Bright.

Greg walks up to the clinic where Amanda works and knocks on the door. The tension is mounting as the knock goes unanswered for several long moments. Finally, the door swings open and Greg finds himself looking point blank at the apple of his eye.

"Surprise," Greg tells a stunned Amanda. "Happy Valentine's Day."

Amanda is baffled by the unexpected visit and thanks Greg as she leans in and kisses him. They spend several long moments gazing into each others eyes as the surreality of the situation subsides.

The couple takes the food inside to share with Amanda's co-workers. Her work friends say they are deeply impressed as they dig into the sandwich wraps.

Amanda's boss, Becky, tells her this is a Valentine's Day she'll never forget.

Whether you believe it or not, to Amanda and her co-workers, Greg Bright is "Valdosta's Most Romantic Man".

We don't have to search here in Tallahassee. We have our own upskirt video dude, who if the commenting community gets its way, will soon be receiving three squares a day and a warm place to sleep.
