One local hospital will be offering a new screening tool to local citizens.

The Capital Regional Medical Center will be releasing a new tool called the angio screen.

Officials say it's a mobile vascular screening program that will travel to outlying communities, health fairs, physician offices and businesses.

They say the program will provide non-invasive screening and vital information about circulation and risk of heart disease and stroke.
