Tallahassee FL- Tallahassee leaders came together today to discuss one key issue, mothers at risk.
The goal was to discuss new ways to reach out to at risk mothers and provide services for them.
The program is called Screening Brief INtervention and REferral to Treatment, and through the agency for health care administration government leaders hope to expland the program.
Agency for health care administration Jenn Ungru said, "We are taking a look at additional and other places we can do outreach to bring information and the brochures and information to those that need the help."
This was the second meeting of it's kind, where this work group brainstorms different ways they can help at-rish mothers.
They hope to have more meetings like this in the future.
