Floridians looking for some help with their health care needs have a new option.
On Tuesday, a new website was launched to provide discounted services like dental care.
State lawmakers have funded the "My Florida Choices" website.
The website myfloridachoices.org currently can handle up to 30,000 visitors a day and 1000 applications at one time.
The idea is to offer services to fill gaps in health care coverage.
"I expect we will expand the offerings to the public in just a few short weeks beside the five that we currently have," said My Florida Choices CEO Rose Naff.
Currently, Careington International Corporation is the only vendor on the website and offers five different services.
However, there are negotiations under way with other vendors to provide more services.
As those services are added, the website will be expanded.
