A new study shows obese children are more likely to be impacted than their healthy counterparts. Researchers at the University of Missouri-Kansas City showed food logos to a group of obese children and healthy weight children, then used scans to see how areas of the brain responded. They found that the brains of obese children did not show activity in the regions of self-control when they were viewing the logos.
