Synthetic marijuana is more of a chemical concoction than any naturally grown plant. Yet there is still a rapid increase in popularity for it over the last few years -- particularly among teens.
A new government report reveals that more than eleven-thousand drug-related cases in emergency rooms are linked to this so-called fake marijuana.
Health experts say it is hardly an epidemic, but it's certainly a growing concern that needs to be addressed. The biggest risk is that people can easily get their hands on the fake pot since it's mostly sold over-the-counter as "herbal incense."
