They found that hostile, aggressive and quick tempered people were twice as likely to face stroke risk. The same was true for smokers or people who had two energy drinks a day, and people who recently suffered a major life stress. Men were at nine times the risk for stroke.
Also, maybe you can pour on the gravy, add cheese, and even some butter but a new study suggests that cutting calories won't prolong your life. Researchers at the National Institute of Aging have been studying the effects of calorie restrictions on monkeys for more than two decades. Surprisingly, they've found that older monkeys who ate fewer calories didn't live any longer than their counterparts who weren't dieting. But the author of the study, which was published in the journal Nature, says more research is needed on the topic. A parallel study at the Wisconsin National Primate Research Center showed different monkeys did improve their survival rates when they dieted.
