August 24, 2012 - Millions of baby seats are being recalled because some babies are getting seriously hurt. You might have one of them in your house, the Bumbo chair. They're very popular with new parents and now, about four million of them are being recalled. Kids are wiggling out and getting hurt, even when the seat is on the floor. Some of the injuries have been serious, inclding skull fractures. Although mostly bumps, bruises and other minor injuries, it's a voluntary recall in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission. To get the free repair kit which includes a seat belt, instructions, and a warning sticker, go to Bumbo's website, http://www.recall.bumbousa.com/ or you can call the company at 866-898-4999 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. CT Monday through Thursday and between 8 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. CT on Friday.
