Nursing students are learning about the complex human heart... by singing about it.
Students at Thailand's "Prince of Songkla University" are learning basic skills through karaoke. they're using videos with diagrams of the human heart... and all that hard to remember medical know-how they'd otherwise read in a textbook is in a catchy tune with easy to remember lyrics.
The school is so into the method...a nine *hundred* page cardiology manual is now an album of five karaoke videos.
The university says it's working, too. examine scores are up thirty percent since the program started.
More than two hundred other hospitals and nursing schools in Thailand are now using the album in their classrooms.
