Ashley Indovino's funeral will be held at Music Funeral Home in Valdosta.

Visitation will be Saturday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and she will be laid to rest Sunday at 2 p.m.

It happened on Knights Academy Road and Twig Drive in Lowndes County.

Georgia State Patrol tells us Ashley Indovino, 17, was on her way to school when the crash happened.

The accident happened just before 8 a.m Wednesday.

Indovino was traveling northbound on Twig Drive, when she failed to yield to Zachary Tanner, 33, who was traveling eastbound on Knights Academy Road.

Tanner's SUV T-boned into Indovino's Saturn sedan.

Indovino died immediately and Tanner suffered injuries to his knees.

"She didn't even graduate high school yet," said Dominique Mathis, of Valdosta. "That's like a big marking stone in someones life to graduate high school. And it's just all gone in a matter of seconds."

Tanner was transported to South Georgia Medical Center

And Indovino's body was taken to Music Funeral Home.

GSP says Indovino was wearing her seat belt.
