Special Theatrical Performance to Benefit Alzheimer's Association

The Alzheimer's Association is sponsoring a play called "Always Patsy Cline.” It depicts the life of the crossover singer from the 50s and 60s.

All of the proceeds go to the Alzheimer's Association of Southwest Georgia. Sponsors say the show is something you don't want to miss.

Gail Lancaster of the Alzheimer's Association of Sowega, says, "The actress who played the part of Patsy Clein is a lady named Jennifer Varnedoe, and if you close your eyes you'll think that Patsy Clein never left us. She sounds exactly like her. I've seen the show; it's funny; it's entertaining."

The show is Saturday night at 8 p.m. at the Thomasville City Auditorium and tickets are $20. Tickets are also available at the door. Doors open at 7.
