Rosh Hashanah Celebration in Tallahassee
Wednesday evening, September 8th, 2010 the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah will commence and continue through Friday night, September 10th, 2010.

Tallahassee, FL - Wednesday evening, September 8th, 2010 the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah will commence and continue through Friday night, September 10th, 2010. Chabad of Tallahassee will host a full High Holiday Services schedule. “Our services will be warm, friendly and traditional," remarks Rabbi Schneur Oirechman, the director of the center. The top event organizers of the last 10 years’ are raving over the service’s phenomenal success, large attendance. The services will take place in the warm and welcoming environment of the Center, at 2601 N Meridian Road, Tallahassee, FL 32303

Membership is not required to join in on the fun. All are welcome, FREE of charge, regardless of background or affiliation. “At the Chabad we understand the need for a meaningful service for every Jew regardless of his or her up social standing”, explained Rabbi Oirechman. The services will be of a very friendly nature making this event enjoyable and meaningful for both the seasoned and the unversed. The services will be in Hebrew and follow traditional customs interspersed with modern Jewish tunes and English readings.

"According to Tradition, at the New Year the Doors of Heaven are open; G-d accepts all prayers, from anyone," said the Rabbi. "We will be opening our doors as well, to the entire community."

Services Dates:

Rosh Hashanah - Jewish New Year (September 8th, 9th and 10th)

Yom Kippur - Day of Atonement (September 17 and 18).

They will be held at various times at the Center, 2601 N Meridian Road, Tallahassee, FL 32303.
