The Florida HVAC rebate program is a JOKE. The state forces you to have a whole-house leakage test to get the rebate. By their estimate, that's $500. If you do not meet their (high) air-leakage standards, you repair ($ lots of money) and test again (another $500). In other words, WHAT REBATE ? . NO REBATE FOR HOMEOWNERS -- JUST FULL EMPLOYMENT FOR DUCT TESTERS !
