Memorial Held For FSU Student Megan Abney
A Tallahassee funeral home was overflowing with family and friends of a 22-year-old Florida State University student who died in a car accident on Monday.

A Tallahassee funeral home was overflowing with family and friends of a 22-year-old Florida State University student who died in a car accident on Monday.

Megan Abney touched the lives of many people during her short lifetime, and some people who knew her well shared memories and stories about her at her memorial service Sunday afternoon.

Relatives were overwhelmed with emotion and couldn't speak to us on camera but say she was a genuine and caring person who was loved by many.

Megan's father says she was scheduled to graduate from FSU in December with a degree in finance and accounting.

To Anonymous-the initial article was removed from numerous websites. There is a reason for that, and there is nothing wrong with wanting to know why. It has nothing to do with RESPECT. You were obviously just as curious because you googled the article yourself now didnt you??

a simple search on google and i found the article on TDO. what is so freakin' secretive about RESPECT. You people should learn it. I know it is a hard concept, but, not ALL ASPECTS of someones life is a RIGHT to be plastered over the media. If you want to read the TDO article, google it. It tells what happened. For the sake of the FAMILY I am not going to elaborate on what that story said. Get a life people. Not everything is a freaking conspiracy.

This is absolutely devastating. Im not sure I understand why this is all so secretive though. I understand the family is grieving, but what does that have to do with keeping everything private?
