September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month and Health officials say one in six men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime.
That's why the Capital Regional Cancer Center is offering free prostate screenings on Tuesday, September 7, 2010, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Officials say men who are over 50 years old and have not had a prostate cancer diagnosis and men 40 and above who are considered high risk, should be screened.
The screenings will also be offered on the eleventh and twenty-third of this month, and all participants must register.
To sign up for a free screening, call (850) 766-0041.
