County officials say that 12-year-old Briana Shultheis and 30-year-old Raymond Lewis are now in Georgia.
MAJ Maurice Langston of the Wakulla County Sheriff's Office says the two arrived in Atlanta Sunday aboard a Greyhound bus from Tallahassee.
MAJ Langston says his department confirmed the trip with the bus stations, so now the focus of the search is on Atlanta.
MAJ Maurice Langston said, "This has turned into a multi-state investigation, obviously. The FBI has been called in to assist us. They're working in both terminals, here in Florida and in Atlanta, Georgia."
Officials in Atlanta say Briana's ticket was bought under the name breezy shoemaker.
Lewis now faces a charge of transporting a child across state lines.
