A Quincy man wanted on drug charges is now behind bars. Deputies arrested him early Friday morning.
Several law enforcement officials worked together, arresting Teriel Young in Leon County. Deputies received a tip Young was staying with a relative in apartment A-4 at the Brairwood Manor complex.
Young was wanted on felony drug and firearms charges stemming from a drug bust two weeks ago in Quincy. Deputies say he tried to avoid capture again Friday.
INV Ulysses Jenkins said "He attempted to jump out of the second floor window. The team was able to secure him back inside the apartment and in opened the apartment door and in turn he was arrested without incident.”
Authorities say Young is a major drug distributor in Quincy. He was transported to the Leon county jail and is scheduled to make a first appearance Saturday morning.
