A late night murder lands one Tallahassee man behind bars.
Thirty-five-year-old Robert Matthews was arrested early Sunday morning on a first-degree murder charge.
Police say it started Saturday night when witnesses reported a shooting in the 2000 Block of Holmes street.
LT Ken Bergstrom says that's where 32-year-old Corvin Harrison was shot by Matthews in his vehicle.
LT Ken Bergstrom of the Tallahassee Police Department said, "Officers arrived on scene. We were told the suspect drove off with vehicle. We put out all points bulletin; that vehicle was located later in the morning down in Wakulla by the Wakulla County Sheriff's Department."
Bergstrom says Matthews dumped the victim's body in the woods off Crawfordville Road, switched vehicles and was later arrested in an apartment near Lake Bradford Road.
Matthews is charged with first-degree murder, grand theft auto, armed robbery and possession of a firearm by a convicted violent felon.
