Homecoming Spirit 2004

Thousands of Rattler fans are rolling into town. From the looks and sounds of things, you'd never know the struggles this university has faced this year.

And one man who is not hanging his head is the president who was voted out of his position just weeks ago. “We came here and did things that will stay for years and years to come. It's unfortunate that his had to occur, but we will survive all of this. We still have the same spirit.”

Leadership controversy isn't the only battle. FAMU football players who have seen a tough year on the gridiron say their minds are on Saturday’s game. Kickoff is at 3 p.m. at Bragg Stadium, where the Rattlers take on Savannah State.
