A record number of people have now cast an early ballot.
More than 1,500 stood in line Saturday to vote in the General Election. So far, 20 percent of the eligible voters in Leon County have cast an early ballot. That's double the amount of the 2000 Presidential Election.
Even though one more day of early voting remains, election officials urge voters to go to their precincts on Election Day since the lines won't be as long.
There will be no voting at the courthouse on Tuesday. The Leon County Supervisor of Elections Office has received calls from voters about polling location changes. The Elections Office does not call voters with precinct changes, so if you receive such a call you are urged to call the Voter Fraud Hotline at 1-877-868-3737 and Tuesday you have to be in line by 7:00 to cast a ballot.
