Madison County, FL -- December 24, 2011
Melvin Mathis Jr., 26 was traveling west on Old County Camp Road in a 2004 Nissan. Mathis failed to maintain in a single lane. The vehicle traveled across the east bound lane and onto the south shoulder.The Nissan's front struck a tree. Mathis was pronounced as deceased on scene by Madison EMS.
The Madison County Sheriff, Police, EMS, and Fire Rescue assisted FHP on scene.
