A man catches what local wildlife enthusiasts call the biggest gator they've ever seen.
Contracted trapper, Lane Stephens, says it's 14 feet long.
Stephens caught the alligator on Lake Talquin at around 10 p.m. on August 11. It was caught using a baited line, which only contract nuisance trappers with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission are allowed to use.
Stephens says it took about two hours to harvest the gator from the time it took the bait.
