On February 6, 2005, a woman was sitting with friends at the McDonald’s at 672 West Tennessee Street in Tallahassee. Then, a man she knows only as Logan, later identified as Logan Bollenback, takes a seat next to her.
She gets up for a moment. When she returns, Bollenback is gone, and so is her wallet and her camera.
Police say an intoxicated Bollnback hopped into a cab, taking it to two different Albertson's grocery stores along the way, confessing his crime.
Cathy Gardner of Crime Stoppers says, "While en route he told him that he had stolen the credit cards and does it quite often. We were able to make a positive identification.”
The cab driver later called Albertson's management and they discover Bollenbeck made three fraudulent purchases for more than $280.
If you've seen Logan Bollenback and can help police arrest him, call Crime Stoppers at 850-891-HELP. You could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
