Riverfront Festival

This year was the biggest ever for the Carrabelle Riverfront Festival. Organizers are bringing in the people and the cash.

Music is a big draw at the Carrabelle Riverfront Festival, but so is the fabulous food and the remarkable views, three ingredients that have made this year's event the biggest draw ever.

"I think that more and more people know about it as we've built it throughout the years, and I think that's part of it, and then I think we had a lot of good advertisement," said Lorraine Dowden, the executive director of the Carrabelle Chamber of Commerce.

Many of the venders bring with them award winning art that focused on music or beach themes.

Florida State University is conducting a study on the festival to see where the crowd is coming from. It's part of the "Visit Florida" grant helping small towns cash in on the tourism industry.

This is the 15th year for Carrabelle Riverfront Festival.
